Upsell Rules Test
To open the Upsell Test screen, select the Test button on the Upsell Rules - Edit screen. Use the Upsell Rules Test screen to verify that your configured upsell rule is working as expected by selecting a rate code, number of adults and children, and occupancy level. Select the Test button to view the expected results. Your upsell offers will be displayed in the Upsell Offers grid located at the bottom-half of the screen.
From Room Type. The "from" room type for the test.
To Room Type. The "to" room type for the test.
Formula. Select the down arrow and choose a formula for the test.
Rounding. Select the down arrow and choose a rounding operation for the test.
Rate Code. The rate code for the test.
Adults. Enter the number of adults.
Children. Enter the number of children.
Occupancy Level. Select the down arrow and choose an occupancy level from the list of values. The occupancy levels are used to define the possible upsell amounts for different occupancy percentages.
This grid will be populated with your upsell offers after you have selected the Test button.
Room Category. The room category for the upsell offer.
Rate Amount. The rate amount for the upsell offer.
Upsell For. The amount for the upsell.
Test. Select to begin test.
