Profiles Overview

Note: When the OPR<version Number>ORS license code is active, three radio buttons appear on the Application Settings screen that affect what Group Functions, Parameters, and Settings will be available.

- The Global radio button displays Group Functions/Parameters/Settings that will affect all properties located in all CROs in the ORS database.
- The CRO radio button displays Group Functions/Parameters/Settings that will affect all properties located in the CRO selected from the CRO LOV.
- The Property radio button displays Group Functions/Parameters/Settings that are available on the property level and will only affect the property selected in the Property LOV.

Functions

ACCOUNT OVERVIEW - Activate the overview Functionality for Accounts Business Blocks and Reservations.
ADDRESS CLEANSING SYSTEM - Which Address Cleansing System will be used.
CENTRAL PROTECT - Profile protection/locking by CRO.
CHAIN OWNERSHIP - Activate Ownership of profiles by chain code. After activating this parameter please Run Utility "Synchronize Chains" under Utilities->Profile. This is a one time process which synchronizes Chain_code on the existing profiles in Opera.
CONTACTS - Activate Contact Functionality.
FUTURE - Activate the Future Tab on Profiles
HISTORY - Activate the History Tab on Profiles
IATA COMPANY TYPE - Show IATA / Company Type on Accounts
INCOGNITO - Activate Incognito functionality
KEYWORD - Show the Keyword field in Edit and Search forms
PRIVACY - Profile Privacy
PROFILE ADD ON - Activate the Profile Add On Functionality.
PROFILE REQUESTS - Profile requests such as Brochures, Mailing etc can be handled.
PROFILE REVENUE BUCKETS - Display Revenue Bucket Details on the Reservation History Screen
RELATIONSHIPS - Activate Relationship Functionality
SOURCE PROFILES - Activates the Source Profile functionality
STATISTICS AND INFORMATION - Activate the Profile Stats & Info tab.
VIP - Activate the VIP Status Functionality

Parameters

ADDRESS CLEANSING - Validates address by invoking external address cleansing interface whenever profile address is created or changed.
ADVANCED RELATIONSHIPS - Activate Advanced Relationship Functionality
ADVANCED TITLE - Advanced Title Configuration.
ALLOW DUPLICATE IDS - Allow duplicate IDs numbers for Travel Agent and Source profiles.
ADVANCED PROFILE MERGE - Ability to merge multiple profiles of the same type from the Profile Merge - Advanced screen.
ALLOW PROFILE MERGE WITH AR ACCOUNTS OR COMMISSIONS - Ability to merge profiles that have AR accounts or commissions in a single property or in different properties in a multi-property environment.
AUTO ATTACH RATE PROMO - Auto Attach Rate Promotion.
AUTO GENERATE CLIENT ID - Automatically generates Client ID. For Individual profile if the Client ID is empty.
AUTO SUBSCRIBE NEG RATES - Auto subscription for negotiated rates.
CLIENT ID EQUAL TO PRIMARY MEMBERSHIP NO. - Maintain the Client ID field on profile equal to the Primary Membership Number.
CONVERT FIRST/LAST NAME CASE - First and last name in profile downloaded from external system will be converted to proper case if set to 'Y'.
DISPLAY GLOBAL STATISTICS - Display global profile statistics on profile stats screen. Used in conjunction with MEMBER INFO DOWNLOAD RANGE (YEARS).
EXTENDED ACCOUNT NAME SEARCH - Account name search to include Name 2 and Name 3.
FORCE AUTO CENTRAL LOOKUP - Automatic Central Lookup.
FORCE PROFILE SEARCH BEFORE NEW PROFILE CREATION - Force a profile search before allowing for a new profile to be created.
FULL PROTECTION - Full Lock for Protected Profile
HIDE CIS HISTORY - When enabled, the CIS History check box and the CIS History option button will be hidden from the PROFILE form.
IATA OVERRIDE - When this parameter is enabled, user is able to override IATA validation and enter an invalid IATA Number after the system gives a warning. This parameter is dependent on IATA YN parameter.
IATA VALIDATION - Determines whether validation will take place on the IATA number entered in the profile.
LOCK INDIVIDUAL NOTES - Lock Individual Profile Notes
MERGE CONTACT WITH DIRECT GUEST - Enable Contacts and Direct Guest profiles to be merged during background process of automerge and profile merge.
MERGE PROFILE OWNER - When this parameter is set to N, do not merge Profile Owners. Keep only the Owner on the Target Profile. When set to Y, keep owners from all the Profiles being merged using the Owner from the Target Profile as the Primary.
MULTIPLE WEB LOGIN DOMAINS - Allow multiple web login domains. Note: Setup the default configuration before using the functionality.
OCIS E-CERTIFICATES - Activate OCIS E-Certificates Functionality.
OVERRIDE ENVELOPE GREETING - When set to Y, the Envelope Greeting field on the Profile screen will override/refresh each time a new title is selected, and it will be populated with the Envelope Greeting that has been configured for the selected title. When set to N, the Envelope Greeting field will not override/refresh when a new title is selected.
OVERRIDE SALUTATION - When set to N, the salutation field is initially filled as per the default of the selected title. However, when this setting is active the field can be manually updated. Updates to name or title components after the profile is saved will not automatically be applied to the salutation field.
PRIVACY DEFAULT - If Yes, then profiles will default to receive promotional information, participate in Market Research, to receive Third Party information, and to be auto enrolled in the Loyalty Program. If No, then profiles will default to NOT receive promotional information, NOT participate in Market Research, NOT to receive Third Party information, and NOT to be auto enrolled in the Loyalty Program.
PROFILE CREDIT CARD - Show Credit Card Tab for all profiles and enable all functions that allow credit cards to be attached.
PROFILE DISCOUNTS - Activates profile discounts.
PROFILE MORE FIELDS - Activate More Fields Tab on Profiles
PROFILE NAME STRING - This parameter determines whether a match and validation takes place against a configured profile type and name string each time a new profile is manually created by a user from Profile Search or from Account Search to see if the name string matches with the profile type.
PURGE EXCLUDE RESTRICTED AND CASH ONLY - Exclude Restricted and Cash Only profiles.
RELATIONSHIP HIERARCHY - The ability to configure and display hierarchy for relationships.
RELATIONSHIPS RATE INHERIT - The ability to configure of inheriting rates to reservations from associated relationships of profile types.
RESTRICT PROFILE NAME CHANGE AFTER FOLIO CREATION - Restrict users from changing the Profile Name (Name, First Name and Title) when a Folio or Invoice has been created for this Payee and/or Guest.
SALES INFORMATION - Activate Sales Information Functionality.
SEARCH PANEL WITHIN PROFILE SCREEN - When Parameter is Y, search fields/grid within the Profile screen display. When Parameter = N, the large gray single button Select Another Guest over the existing search field and grid to display taking user to Profile Search.
SHOW FUTURE RESERVATIONS - Show Future Reservations for Individual Profiles when conducting a Profile Search
SHOW ORS PROFILES IN OCM - Show profiles created in ORS in OCM.
SHOW REQUEST ACTION - Show the request Action window before sending a Profile Request.
UPDATE FUTURE RESERVATIONS FOR MERGED MEMBERSHIP PROFILES - Update future reservations for merged membership profiles.

Settings

ADDRESS CLEANSE PROCESS RUNTIME- Runtime for Address Cleanse Process.
ADDRESS CLEANSING TIMEOUT - Timeout for External Address Cleansing Interface in Seconds.
ADDRESS DOCTOR BATCH CLEANSE DAYS - Indicate the Range of days from the current date in which Profiles have changed that the Batch Cleansing process should pick up for cleansing their addresses.
ADDRESS DOCTOR COUNTRY CODES - Indicates the Country Codes for which Address Doctor will validate the Address. Empty value will validate for all Addresses.
ADDRESS DOCTOR MAX BATCH PROCESS TIME - Maximum Time in Hours that the Address Cleansing Batch process should run.
ADDRESS DOCTOR MEMBERSHIP TYPES - Indicates the Membership Types which should exist for Profiles for which Address Doctor will validate the Address during batch Process. Empty value will ignore this criteria for Address cleansing.
ADDRESS DOCTOR MODES - Activate Address Doctor Modes for cleansing profile address.
ADDRESS DOCTOR PROFILE TYPES - Indicates the Profile Types for which Address Doctor will validate the Address.
ADDRESS TYPE DEFAULT - Address type logic for Individual and Contact Profiles.
ADDRESS TYPE TO COPY FROM ACCOUNT TO CONTACT - When copying an account and generating a new profile or reservation this parameter defines that the standard address for that account is the same as the company address.
AUTO MERGE RULE - This Merge Rule will apply while merging profiles in Profile Auto Merge Background Processor Job.
CENTRAL LOOKUP STATS - This parameter will turn on the generation of stats for profile central lookup.
CHAIN OWNERSHIP PROFILE TYPES - Indicates the Profile Types for which Chain Ownership will be assigned. If value of setting is empty then all profile types will be assigned Chains Ownership.
CIS DATABASE LINK - Indicates the Database Link to CIS.
CIS HISTORY DOWNLOAD (COUNT) - Number of records to be fetched for CIS history.
COMPANY ADDRESS TYPE - Default Address Type for Non Individual Profiles.
COMPANY PHONE TYPE - Default Phone Type for Non Individual Profiles.
CONTACT ADDRESS TYPE - Default Address Type for Contact Profiles.
DEFAULT MEMBERSHIP TYPE - Default Membership Type
DEFAULT PROFILE DISCOUNT REASON - Default discount reason to be attached to a reservation created by OXI whose profile(s) has a discount set up for the rate and period of the reservation. Will also be used to populate the discount reason on the reservation screen when a profile discount is attached.
DEFAULT STAY RECORD EXCHANGE CODE - This application setting sets a default exchange code for stay records upload.
DEFAULT VIEW FOR ACCOUNT SEARCH - Default Account Type
EMPLOYEE DEFAULT PHONE TYPE - Default Phone Type for New Employees
GENERATE ID FOR PROFILE TYPES - Indicates the Profile Types for which ID has to be generated Automatically.
ID DOCUMENT SCANNER TIMEOUT - Number of seconds after which the ID Document Scanner Device will time out.
ID DOCUMENT STORED IMAGE TYPE - Type of Image (Full or Face Image) to be stored in Opera from Scanned ID Documents.
INDIVIDUAL ADDRESS TYPE - Default Address Type for an Individual Guest Profile
INDIVIDUAL PHONE TYPE - Default Phone Type for an Individual Guest Profile
LINK ACCOUNT TO CONTACT - Attach account when creating a new contact.
MAILING CONTACT EMAIL TYPE - Enable Mailing Contact Email Type features.
MAILING INDIVIDUAL EMAIL TYPE - Enable Mailing Individual Email Type features.
MAXIMUM ALLOWED E-CERTIFICATE GUEST LIST - Maximum Allowed No. of guests in the E-Certificate Guest List. Please note: Once the value is set, it cannot be changed to a lower value. Example: If the application setting is 5, it cannot be changed to a value lower than 5.
PAD CORPNO DIGITS - Indicates the number of digits the Corporate number will be padded on the left side with 0.
PAD IATA DIGITS - Indicates the number of digits the IATA number will be padded on the left side with 0.
PHONE TYPE TO COPY FROM ACCOUNT TO CONTACT - When copying an account and generating a new profile or reservation this parameter defines that the standard phone number for that account is the same as the company phone number.
PROFILE DISCOUNTS PRIORITY - Allows the user to select the priority when applying profile discounts when multiple eligible profiles exist on the reservation.
PROFILE LOOKUP TYPES - Profile types to be used for lookup functionality.
PROPERTY ACTION CODES - Determines if Profile Action codes are property specific or centrally administered.
PROPERTY COMPETITION CODES - Determines if Competition codes are property specific or centrally administered.
PROPERTY PRIORITY CODES - Determines if Priority codes are property specific or centrally administered.
PROPERTY ROOMS POTENTIAL CODES - Determines if Rooms Potential codes are property specific or centrally administered.
PURGE ADDRESS COUNTRY - Country code of the guest address.
PURGE DAYS - Number of Days a Guest Profile should have had no Activity before being Removed.
PURGE DAYS FOR INCOMPLETE PROFILES - Number of Days a Guest Profile without Address1, Address2, and a defined Communication Method (Phone, Fax, or Email for example) should have had no activity before being removed.
PURGE LAST STAY DAYS - Number of Days a Guest Profile has no stay before being removed.
PURGE MINIMUM STAYS - Minimum Number of stays a Guest Profile needs to have if a profile is not to be removed.
QAS MAX ADDRESS - Maximum number of addresses processed by QAS.
REMOVE DIACRITICS - For Address Doctor, replace diacritical characters such as umlaut with the proper equivalent without diacritical marks.
RESYNC PROFILE TYPES - Only selected profile types would have the RESYNC button available on the profile options form.
