Scope Cities
Sales information can be provided on company, travel agent, source, and contact Profile screens, primarily on the Sales Info tab. This information can assist Sales Managers in decision-making and can be used as filters in preparing sales reports.
The scope city is the city where the contact or account's headquarters is located or the city where one of your properties is located that this contact or account uses frequently. Select System Configuration>Profile>Sales Information>Scope Cities to set up sales scope cities. The Scope Cities screen appears.
The Scope Cities screen shows the following information.
Code. Code that represents the scope city.
Description. Description of the scope city code.
Seq. Number that controls the position of the scope city in displays.
To create a new scope city, select the New button from the Scope Cities screen. To modify an existing scope city, highlight your choice on the Scope Cities screen and select the Edit button. The Scope Cities - New or Scope Cities - Edit screen appears.
Provide the following information and select the OK button.
Code. Enter a code for the scope city (for example, NYC for New York, MADRID for Madrid, etc.).
Description. Enter a description for the scope city code.
Display Seq. Enter a number that will control the position of this scope city when listed in screen displays. Scope cities that do not have a display sequence number appear in alphabetical order following the scope cities that have a sequence number assigned.
