Display the Event Change Log
To access the Event Change Log, select the Changes button from the Event Search screen Options menu. A sub-menu prompts you to select the Detailed Change Log or the Production Change Log.
Changes to events are recorded in detail into the Event Change Log. The Event Change Log is divided into detailed changes and production changes. Detailed changes (the Catering Log) can be used to communicate changed requirements to the operational staff as well as keeping record of who made these changes and when, in case of disputes. Changes to resources are included as part of the detailed changes as well. Production changes include changes to the Event status and/ or revenue. Catering production reporting is based on this log.
Note: To start recording detailed changes it is necessary to check the Details OK? flag on the Catering tab of the Business Block header.
Display. Select 'Status Changes' or 'Revenue Changes', depending on which log you want to view.
Change Date. If looking for changes that have been made from one specific date onwards, type this date here, or click on the calendar button to select the date from the calendar.
Bus-Block ID. Type the required business block ID for which to view Event changes.
Event ID. Type the required Event ID for which to view changes.
BH ID. The Business Block header ID this change is linked to.
Event ID. The event ID this change is linked to.
Att. Number of attendees for this Event.
Event Start. Event Start Date.
Change Date. Date the change took place.
Rev. Type. The revenue type that was affected by the change.
Rev. Change. Amount the revenue for the specified type was changed by. Can be positive or negative amounts.
Currency. Currently not functional. Will be used to convert foreign currency catering revenue into base currency.
Status. Event status.
Cat. Owner. Catering primary Sales Manager.
Bus-Header ID. The business header ID this change is linked to.
Event ID. The Event ID this change is linked to.
Change Date. Date the change took place.
Prior Status. Status of Event before change.
Current Status. Status of Event after the change.
Action. Select NEW, UPDATE or DELETE from LOV.
Type. Select Event, Item, Menu, Menu item or Space from the LOV, depending on what type of change you are searching for.
Bus-Block ID. Type the required business block ID for which to view Event changes.
Event ID. Type the required Event ID for which to view changes.
By User. Select the user name for which you want to see the changes he or she has made.
Change Date. If looking for changes that have been made from one specific date onwards, type this date here, or click on the calendar button to select the date from the calendar.
Chg ID. Internal Change ID number.
BB ID. Business Block ID the change is linked to.
Event ID. Event ID the change is linked to.
Event Name. Event Name.
Type. Area to which the change has been applied. Possible types are Event, Item, Menu, Menu item, Space.
Res.Name. Resource Name after the change.
Action. What has been done to the selected type. Can be NEW, UPDATE or DELETE.
By. Name of User who performed the change.
Date. The date the change was made.
Time. The time the change was made.
Field Name. Lists the fields that were affected by the change. One change can affect multiple fields.
Old Value. Displays the old value of the field.
New Value. Displays the field contents after the change was applied.
Note: It is possible to specify which action for which field should be recorded into the Change Log. This can be done through option Audit Log Configuration under the Catering header in the Configuration menu.
