Description. Mask Credit Card Number
Internal Name. MASK_CC_NO
Property Determination. Do you want the system to replace all but the last 4 credit card numbers with ‘X’? Expiration date will also be masked. When this application parameter is set to Y, special user permissions, Credit Card Information View and Credit Card Information Print, are available. If the View permission is granted to a user, that user may view and edit credit card numbers and expiration dates on all applicable screens. If the permission is not granted to a user, the user sees only masked information which may not be modified; the user may, however, overwrite the masked information with new information. If the Credit Card Information Print permission is granted to the user, the user may print reports that include unmasked credit card numbers and expiration dates.

The General>Days To Mask Credit Card Information application setting is available when the Mask Credit Card Number application parameter is set to Y. This setting may be used to limit the number of days unmasked credit card information is made available for viewing and editing by authorized persons. |

When Mask Credit Card Number is set to Y, all credit card numbers are masked within the application unless the user has the Credit Card Information View user permission. The Credit Card Information Print user permission controls the user's ability to print unmasked credit card numbers. |
