Description. Program name used to compress files. (eg. zip)

Internal Name. EXPORT_ZIPPROGRAM

Property Determination.  Associated zip program to be used to compress files such as Night Audit reports and Opera export files.

Note: If export files are set up with a target zip file path and filename (in the Zip File Name field on the Export File Details screen) and the Compress Data check box is selected, when the export file is generated, the zip file gets created automatically.  If Compress Data is not checked, even if the file name and location are specified, the zip file will not be created. 

Oracle provides two freeware zip utilities to compress and uncompress files — ZIP (zip.exe) and UNZIP (unzip.exe) — that are not bound by these limitations. Files compressed using ZIP may be uncompressed using UNZIP.
